With a total of 3,725 verified votes (more than ever before), we’re excited to announce the unprecedented results of the 2025 Wi Readers Awards!

The March issue of the magazine will feature interviews with the winners and their reactions. For now, our heartfelt congratulations to all manufacturers, publishers, and events that earned votes – especially those who won bronze (3rd place), silver (2nd place), and gold (1st place) awards.

That wraps things up. Huge congratulations to Victrix for a clean winning sweep in every category, other than Best Show. We’ll be sending out the trophies as soon as possible, and don’t forget to check the March edition of Wargames Illustrated (Wi459) for additional Readers’ Award results and reactions.

Please note:

• Votes in the ‘Other’ category are reviewed for potential award eligibility, possible inclusion in next year’s dropdown menu, and (simply!) out of interest.
• Chain of Command 2 received 25 additional votes in the Best New Game ‘other’ section, meaning it tied with Burrows and Badgers for third place.
• The Hobby Hero award winner will be announced in the March issue of the magazine.
• All votes were verified and found to be legitimate, with no duplicate or automated voting detected.
