The new boxed set of plastics from the Perry’s contains enough sprues to create 40 miniatures.
These can be assembled in a whole range of active poses, with small sprues designed to create figures in skirmishing, loading, charging, advancing poses and marching.
All the figures are in the four buttoned sack coat which became an issue item during the war. In addition, you can opt for forage caps or a variety of broad brimmed hats, allowing you to field troops for the Western or Eastern parts of the war or simply mix them together for a more ‘on campaign’ look.
There is also a command sprue, complete with banner pole, bugler arm and drum, plus arms for the officer holding a revolver or sheathed sword.
The range of possible options with this boxed set is, as always, incredibly good. The boxed set also comes with unit bases, painting instructions and a sheet of flags, once again allowing you to know how assemble, paint and present the miniatures in the correct fashion. Once again, the Perry’s have proven that their miniatures are not only value for money but can provide the interested gamer with a whole ‘company in a box’ for use on the tabletop at a great price.
