Dante Alighieri is one of the most important poets of the Middle Ages, and on the 700th anniversary of his death, we celebrate “the man who invented Italy” with a limited edition 28mm Giants in Miniature figure.

This GiM displays Dante as he might have appeared at the Battle of Campaldino, 1289, when he was 28. Dante fought with the Guelph cavalry at Campaldino, but our figure can take to the tabletop as part of any 13th-century force looking for a fine mounted warrior, especially one who is good at writing poetry!
