The Curse of Dead Man’s Hand

If you are a fan of the Jonah Hex and Weird Western Tales comics from DC, then these latest offerings from Great Escape Games will be right up your dusty, windswept and suspiciously quiet Main Street…

Expanding upon their original rulebook once more, this expansion for Dead Man’s Hand takes the Wild West in a more supernatural direction, adding zombies, monsters and more.

This first figure takes as it’s inspiration the Native American legends of the Wendigo, a sprit creature that corrupts the host, turning him from a civilized man into a ravenous killing machine, seeking to slake its endless hunger with the flesh of others. With a hideous visage and bloodstained hands and mouth, this depiction of a man turned into a monster should be enough to strike terror into both hardened cowpokes and soft living townsfolk alike.

The second figure is the enigmatic but disturbing Baron, a figure seemingly from some dark legend, clad in trappings and makeup which seem to evoke images of death. Often draped in poisonous snakes and other similarly dangerous creatures that never do him any harm, none are sure of the Baron’s origins, nor whether he is entirely human. With his top hat, dark clothing and silver topped cane, he is a funereal figure who seems fascinated by both death and the afterlife, especially if the rumours of his constantly rotting entourage are to be believed…
