Mailing subscription copies of Wargames Illustrated Magazine outside of the United Kingdom continues to be a major problem.
The April, May and June issues of the magazine: Wi400, 401 and 402 were all seriously affected by “Brexit and Covid” (according to our currier) and magazines are taking up to 60 days to be delivered to their destinations.
Magazines are sent out on the 20th (or nearest Monday) of every month.
From the July issue of the magazine: Wi403, we are using a new courier service, with a delivery time of 7 – 10 days to mainland Europe and 15 – 20 days to the Rest of the World (including the USA).
If you are still waiting for your copies of the magazine, we are confident that it will arrive (within 60 days) However because this is an unacceptable amount of time to wait, we are offering refunds on either individual issues OR full subscriptions.
Having to offer refunds is not something we take any pleasure in doing – we take pleasure in delivering your copy of the magazine every month – however the postal system in the UK is in such a terrible state that we feel we have no alternative, and we hope that this offer of a refund goes some way to compensating you for your loss.
If you would like to apply for a refund please fill in the form at the bottom of the article.
We apologise massively that we have not been able to deliver your magazines within a reasonable time and hope that normal service will be resumed with the July issue, Wi403.
F.A.Q.
“I don’t want a refund I want a replacement magazine”
We are sorry to say that we have reached a point where sending out replacement magazines is costing so much money that we can no longer afford to do this.
“Following my refund for missing magazine/s will my subscription continue?”
Yes, unless you have applied for a full refund, your subscription will continue.
“I have ordered other things from the UK and they have arrived without a problem”
Yes, we know this is happening and it makes the situation even more frustrating. Magazine post is considered such low priority that it is always at the bottom of the pile when it comes to delivery.
“Can I switch to WiPrime?”
We would love you to take out a WiPrime Membership (with which you get a PDF version of the magazine, plus lots more, every month) but we can’t make a “switch”. One of the great things about WiPrime is that membership is totally controlled by the member, i.e. they can start/stop at any time, so we cannot start a Prime membership for you.
“I’m in the UK but have yet to receive my magazine/s”
Please contact us via help@wargamesillustrated.net quoting your name, postcode and which issue/s you are missing.
