Having decided to put the whole range of miniatures up for sale, the owners of Rogue Miniatures were fortunate enough to find a buyer in the form of Minifigs Ltd. This is a great range of TV and movie inspired miniatures from a number of genres.
There are so many packs in the range that it is hard to feature them all, but suffice to say if you’ve viewed a TV show or movie from the 1960’s up until the late 1990s and a little beyond, there’s probably something you’ll recognise. From buddy cop movies to tales of crazed New Yorkers, fantastical versions of life in Sherwood Forest to neo-pulp high fantasy, it’s all here, under the ‘Wayne’s World of Wonder’ banner on the Minifigs Ltd. website.
The figures are all cast in metal and are from a number of top-quality sculptors, with each one managing to capture a key ‘pop culture’ character exceptionally well. Some packs consist of single figures, whilst others contain two or three figures inspired by the same source material.
Every figure in this range is inspired by an iconic character from movie or TV history, and it’s good to see that the range has been ‘rescued’ from potential obscurity. In addition, Minifigs intend to add a few new packs to the range based upon sculpts and master molds, with hopefully more to come.
