More Terrain is a German company with a nice take on wargames scenery and scatter terrain. Everything they sell is ‘Ready To Play’, just take it out of the box, put it on the table and get battling!
Provided for review was Oriental House 5, a typical Middle Eastern or similar building. This particular one has a shop area on the ground floor, with a brightly coloured awning to attract the eye and a set of wares laid out for the customer to peruse. The upstairs level is probably where the owner lives, retiring there after a long day.

The whole thing comes fully assembled and painted, even down to the goods for sale, which are firmly attached to the base. The overall dimensions are 17 by 15 by 13cm, aiming for 25-28mm scale. Constructed using polystyrene foamboard, HDF card, fabric and casting slip, it is finished with acrylic paint, which is applied with a textured finish. Although the interior is undercoated rather than painted, the fact that you may remove the roof means you can add your own touches and place figures or detailing items within. These products are mostly handmade and therefore may differ in colour and shape from what is shown here.
The company also has a number of pre-painted resin items, the type of scatter terrain that can really add to the appearance of your tabletop. These range from the distant past to the far future. Pictured here are some items from the Urban range, abandoned mattresses, sofas, sandbagged positions and barbed wire. Again, these are ready for the tabletop, just click, purchase, wait for the post, unpack and use.
With a plethora of products available from this small company, there should be something for everyone tucked away in their ranges. The overall quality of the products is excellent, and may be combined to create all sorts of tabletop layouts with the minimum of fuss. Its is well worth a visit to the well organized website, which has good quality photographs of everything on offer.
