This is a brand new premium quality gaming mat from Battlefront. Ostensibly for use with Flames Of War, but actually usable with any game system.
The 6’ x 4’ mat is made of a high-quality neoprene which gives it quite a bit of weight and, no-doubt, durability.
It’s double sided with a grass surface on one side and a desert on the other.
At $90/£70 the mat doesn’t come cheap, but Battlefront have gone for quality over economy and although only time will tell if this is a ‘mat for life’ it certainly appears, feels (and smells!) like a quality investment.
