Now that Eureka Miniatures have a new ‘office’ in the UK, we have access to some of the latest and upcoming releases ‘hot off the moulds’. As a consequence, we have samples from two upcoming ranges this week, in two different sizes.
First up, we have one pack of three miniatures from AB Figures. These 20mm figures are designed to represent World War II British infantry in tropical dress of trousers and shirtsleeves. The figures are posed as advancing, with two figures with rifles and one carrying wooden ammunition crates. They are intended to be suitable for Tunisia, Italy and Burma and are the first of a much larger soon to be released range of the same. Plans also include the release of a number of packs of Fallschirmjager in tropical uniform as well.

Next is the first of a brand new range of 28mm World War II Japanese, in this case Imperial Japanese Army infantry in helmets, charging, kneeling firing and standing shooting with Arisaka rifles. This is ready to be released, with sculpts of infantry in caps and camouflaged helmets as well as a Type 92 HMG & crew, plus 3 anti-tank bombers – 2 with lunge mines and the third one with the Model 3 Conical Hand Mine.
