Crooked Dice are well known for being the power behind the 7TV rule system. So far, they have Spy-FI, Apocalypse and Pulp versions of the rules, with plans for a Fantasy and 8TV boxed set in the future. To support these ‘Cult TV and Movie’ tabletop skirmish adventures, the company produces a whole variety of generic miniatures for gamers to enjoy.
Two of the most recent releases are Great Apes and Security troopers.
The Great Apes pack consists of 3 gorillas, slightly larger than 28mm and in three different poses. These are suitably primal looking apes, and work within a number of gaming options, from adventures in the Congo to alien planets, perhaps with a paint colour choice being the most important choice in this regard.

The second pack consists of 4 Security Troopers. These would work in a Cyberpunk / Near Future setting, or possibly an even more Sci-Fi setting, out on the edge of a galactic empire. The poses, weapons and equipment on display are fairly uniform and well rendered and the figures have a professional air.
The Crooked Dice release schedule for figures is seemingly never-ending, with pretty much something for everyone across the ranges. If you’re are looking for skirmish level gaming figures with a TV and movie angle, or even just generic miniatures to fill out your ranks, you need to take a look at their website.
