Sent for review are these figures from the Vox Populi range. Translated as ‘Voice of the People’, this is a range inspired by the requests of gamers and chosen for sculpting by the company. This is a great idea from such a small company and allows for the creation of one off characters, new ranges or similar sculpted by such notables as Martin Baker and Mark Sims.
VOX 4 and VOX 5 are members of the Middlemarch Fencibles Militia, a fictional all female unit from the early to mid-19th Century. VOX 4 is the Command pack, complete with officer, ensign with standard pole, pike armed sergeant and a drummer. VOX 5 is five figures armed with muskets in various poses. All are well sculpted and wear a suitably ‘restrained’ uniform of long skirts and short military jackets, with either Tarleton helmets, wide brimmed hats or bicornes.
