Battlefield Terrain Concepts have a number of terrain products in their range, and offer a scratch building service that can cope with most gamer’s needs.
One of their latest releases is ‘flexible fields’ (seen below), a series of ploughed fields made from a flexible resin compound. They can be supplied fully painted and finished, perhaps with flock or walls around the edges or left for the gamer to finish as they wish. Using the basic version, different versions of the field can be created, including combination fields (ploughed and planted), partially planted fields of crops and more.
The company has a whole variety of terrain and buildings on offer (examples below), and are able to combine these to create unique terrain pieces to your specifications. In addition, they can put together easily recognizable features based upon those found on a variety of battlefields from across history. Fancy your own version of Little Round Top? They have it in stock or can make one for you. Want a hilltop village for use with your World War Two Italian campaign? Pick a design and they’ll get it made.
Most of the items on offer are designed for 15mm gaming, although other scales are available. However, with a varied stock and the bespoke building service, BTC surely have something to offer every gamer.
This is one of our ‘Spotted at Historicon 2018’ products, all of which also feature in WI371.
