Gale Force 9 has added more sci-fi terrain to their Battlefield In A Box range with these pre-painted resin pieces.
Using the same ‘iconically generic’ approach, as with their previous Galactic Warzones releases, these are instantly recognizable to certain fans of science fiction movies, whilst being usable in any setting. Designed to fit with 25 to 35mm figures and vehicles, these are ready for the tabletop straight out of the box.
The Power Generator box consists of 1 large piece of pre-painted resin that has the appearance of a turbine engine. It has rounded and flat edges, suggesting that only part of the generator is above ground. The set also comes with a smaller resin item entitled ‘Generator Coupling’, which can be used to join a series of generator pieces together or to perhaps simulate the connection to a building.
The second box contains 3 pieces of resin, designed to represent two different sizes of Defense Turrets. The Small Turret looks part radar dish, part weapon, whilst the Large Turret has a tank-like top with gun and fits into its own base.
These are great products with some high production values. The resin pieces would fit on a host of planets, from the desert world to the icy wastes. They are ideal for any and all sci-fi gamers, especially for fans looking to fight long ago battles based upon worlds in a galaxy far, far away.
