Flatpack Forces offer full colour, ready to play wargaming armies and scenery produced in MDF. It not only looks great on the table but can be taken apart and stored remarkably easily, taking up minimal space.
Designed to be easily and quickly based and on the gaming table as soon as possible, these are fully colour printed figures, with front and back prints onto laser cut MDF.
The figures simply push into the coloured bases and are ready for action in seconds. They come in squad ‘sheets’, with a standard squad sheet including an N.C.O., a gunner and ten riflemen. There is also a unit badge that may be used as a marker in your games.
A single standard squad sheet is £10 per sheet with a Platoon of three squads plus a platoon command sheet (this will include an officer and various supporting weapons dependent on the army type) at £30
Scenery, including trees, hedges, roads and even buildings are going to be included in the range, all of which may be broken down flat to store away.
The artwork for the figures has come from the incredibly talented Steve Beckett and there are many more to come in the pipeline. Steve’s style works very well for this scale of miniature and gives them real character. On the tabletop, they do not look at all out of place and can even outclass some of their more fully formed cousins.
This is just the start of a number of ranges. Plans are already in place for Imperial Romans versus Ancient Britons and some knights in shining armour.
These are a quick way to get wargaming in a ‘try out’ period or with a rules system you want to introduce to others. They are also suitable for school games clubs or similar. An interesting idea that we look forward to seeing develop.
