Stoessi’s Heroes continues to provide some of the best World War Two character miniatures that are available on the market. Figures based upon notable warriors of World War Two are offered alongside figures based upon the world of TV and movies. These are available for pretty much every combatant nation, plus are accurately named, allowing for research in to those which are unknown.
Three of the most recent figures include Corporal Tony Stein of the USMC, Lieutenant Colonel ‘Mad jack’ Churchill of the British Army and Private First Class Saigo of the Japanese Imperial Army. Each miniature is well-sculpted, in suitably active poses and often with trademark weapons or equipment, such as ‘Mad Jack’ with his trademark sword and bagpipes or Corporal Stein with his .30 calibre Browning machine gun.

The overall impression of this growing range is of a number of characters that would be the focal point of any army. Used alongside the ‘rank and file’ of other companies, these miniatures would stand out on the tabletop and could be adapted to form HQ units or similar. A great and ever increasing range that works well.
