Black Cat Bases are a small company who have been around a long time and have an eclectic back catalogue. We picked out four figures from the Cthulhu section to look at in more detail.
The first figure we have is Hard Boiled Detective Version 1. The figure comes with a choice of 4 separate hands. We’ve opted for the broken bottle option to compliment the autoloading pistol in the left hand, leaving behind the cutlass and knife. Clad in a fedora and trenchcoat, this figure would fit a variety of settings, and is in a good action pose.

The second figure is Adventurer Version 2. Again, the figure comes with 4 separate hand choices, designed to fit into the right hand. We chose a hatchet to go with the cast on autoloading pistol. This figure is ready for adventures from the desert to Warlord Era China, and again has a good action pose.
The next two figures are straight out of Innsmouth, Deep One Hybrids which inhabit the seaside town in Massachusetts that is a landing point for denizens of the Old Gods. Consequently, they have the ‘Innsmouth Look’, a strange crossover of human and non-human DNA. One figure wears dungarees and wields a crowbar, whilst the other is a bearded chap in a woollen pullover.

These are just a small part of a much, much wider range of unique and generic sculpts. The website is worth a browse, but will take a while to get through due to the wide variety of miniatures on offer.
