Victrix has built its reputation on high quality plastic miniatures, first for the Napoleonic period and then branching out into Ancients. Its Warriors of Antiquity range contains a host of useful, multipose plastic figures and continues to grow.
Their latest offering are these Macedonian Greek Successor Heavy Cavalry, which come with the relevant parts to be assembled as Macedonian Companion, Greek, Thessalin Noble, Successor and post-Successor Greek Cavalry. This is all achieved by the usage of alternate weaponry, heads, shields and other equipment, making this a multi-functional kit with far more options than those from other companies.
There are 12 figures in the set, complete with their mounts, allowing you to create units of finely detailed miniatures in relatively short order. In addition, the price point of the set belies the quality, with the small amount of work to build each figure being far from an onerous task.
These and the other miniatures in the Warriors of Antiquity range are an excellent way to bulk out your chosen army or create a new one. The fact that they are available at a fraction of the cost of some metal ranges really makes them a viable option for those on a budget.
