Warlord Games and Clockwork Goblin have been releasing miniatures and supplements for the Konflikt ’47 range on a consistent basis. This latest boxed set adds some hard hitting weapons to those available for the Japanese forces in the Pacific.
The boxed set consists of 12 multi-pose plastic Japanese infantry figures, drawn from the Bolt Action range. The difference here is the inclusion of 12 pairs of metal arms holding Rift tech ‘Compression Rifles’. These are comparable to the larger weapons found on tank chassis, designed to create molecular ‘compression’ in their targets. This rifle-based weapon allows the Japanese infantry to bring this technology to the level of an infantry firefight. Comparable to an assault rifle in terms of weight, this is a useful weapon and the terror of the Allies.

Once again, Warlord prove the versatility of their generic plastic figures and add in some Clockwork Goblin designs to create another Weird War unit. No doubt there will be many more to come in the future.
