Flags of War have run a successful Kickstarter to fund a range of Jacobite miniatures suitable for the 1745 Rebellion. There are a whole number of packs that will soon be available to those that pledged, with the release to the general public coming not long after that.
The five pre-release figures very kindly sent for review are all in Highland dress, with four armed with muskets and one with a targe and basket hilted broadsword. All are very well sculpted with some great detail and are in various fairly active poses. The castings received are of a high quality, indicative of a commitment to excellence.
If these figures are anything to go by, this will be an excellent set of releases for a new range of miniatures for an interesting period. It may be that the Kickstarter is set up for late pledges, but if not or you missed it, these miniatures will be well worth adding to your collection.
