Anvil Industry was one of the first UK companies we became aware of that specializes in providing resin parts to create or customize miniatures. They have an ever-expanding range of miniatures that may be used for a range of backgrounds.
Many of these miniatures and the parts thereof can be used to customize those from other companies. However, Anvil Industry also provide complete units, some for use with their own Afterlife rules and concept, that simply require assembly to be painted and fielded on the tabletop.

One of the main differences with this particular manufacturer, and perhaps one which demonstrates why they are at the pinnacle of the marketplace, is the ease of assembly. Uniquely, the ‘fit’ between parts is easily achieved due to the fact that there is a ‘lug’ and ‘locator’ hole for heads, arms and legs. This allows you to ‘dry fit’ a few basic poses, then add suitable glue and still have some latitude to move the parts around in a different fashion to when sticking flat surfaces together.
The company also provides a number of different weapon types, head variants, leg and torso options, hand options and other items such as Molotov cocktails, chainsaws, tools and more. In our opinion, this range of choice and the level of production is THE best on the market at this time, especially given the fact that this is still a small company. It is good to see that they have begun to ‘come of age’ and not only provide parts for figures from other companies but have moved on to providing their own. If you’re after anything from straight sci-fi to post-apocalyptic and ultra-modern miniatures, this is a company you need to check out.
