The world of Frostgrave is sometimes a dark one, and full of horrors. And perhaps the darkest aspect has been The Maze of Malcor, a campaign supplement which saw the release of stats and miniatures to add to the denizens encountered by brave adventurers a-plenty. It amongst all the other beasties that seek to disrupt the plans of many a wizard’s warband are the Chronohounds, which now have their own miniatures for use on the tabletop.
Chronohounds are time-hopping demon dogs from the nightmare abyss, who appear and disapper at whim across the fabric of Space and Time. They attack anyone on sight, only staying long enough in one temporal reality to rend and devour, or focussing in on a fixed point usually created by the presence of time crystals.
There are three models in this pack of miniatures. These are large, hairless hounds with a vicious looking demeanour and mouths full of teeth. They have clawed feet and the sculptor has done a great job in making them look suitably evil.
The Frostgrave range of metal and plastic figures is ever-growing and is perfect for those who enjoy the realms of the Frozen City. However, they would also serve as great miniatures for a host of other fantasy adventure games, and are perfect for the resurgence of Dungeons & Dragons or similar RPGs.
