Warbases have an upcoming range of US-themed buildings and vehicles. So far, they have planned an RV, Panel Van, the windmill like Farm Windpump, a Fast Food outlet and the Corner Car Dealership – in a range they are calling Route 66.
The RV or motorhome is based upon the classic Winnebago design, shown here painted in a suitable style. The kit consists of MDF and lasercut card, and comes with some metal parts.
The Panel Van is a ubiquitous part of American life, used from the 1960’s right up to the present day. Although this example is painted as a Fed Ex delivery vehicle, this kit could just as easily be painted up as a police SWAT van, bakery truck or a whole number of similar vehicles.
The Farm Windpump is an equally iconic part of the American landscape, its sail utilizing the power of the wind to pump water up from underground springs.
The Fast Food outlet is also typical of the smaller buildings found in cities, perhaps offering burgers, hotdogs or tacos, which follow a style that has been used for many years.
Lastly, the Corner Car Dealership consists of a small office / showroom and service area, again rendered in a classic style that could fit a number of eras.
These all come as unpainted MDF kits, simple to build with some etched detail, lasercut card and metal parts, ready to take paint as and when desired. Warbases offer a whole number of building and vehicle kits from a whole variety of periods, and offer high quality at sensible prices.
