New 'Rank and File' from Crusader

Crusader Miniatures over the past few months has been expanding a new range called 'Rank and File'. In this range, Crusader Miniatures have been making regiments from history, giving gamers great figures of all the favourite troop types rather than producing a single range.
The first figures have all been Ancients, but Crusader will be moving into horse and musket in the near future as well.
The latest releases in this Rank and File range are
RFA031 Early Imperial Roman Legionaries with Pilum (x8) £8.00
RFA032 Early Imperial Roman Legionary Command (x4) £4.50
RFA033 Middle Imperial Roman Legionaries with Spears. (x8) £8.00
RFA034 Middle Imperial Roman Legionary Command (x4) £4.50
RFA041 Persian Sparabara Spearmen (x8) £8.00
RFA042 Persian Sparabara Spearmen Command (x4) £4.50
As well as the individual packs, Crusader are also doing discounted 20 figure regiment deals of all Rank and File figures.
The latest 6 packs are due for release end of May. Customers who place a pre-order for each pack can also buy them at a special pre-release price.

Salute Zero Eight Photos in the mag and online

This year's Salute Wargames Show, held at ExCel in London, 19th April, was another belter; featuring over 80 different display/participation games and 135 traders.
The latest issue of the mag (WI248) includes 8 pages of coverage on the event and features photos from a cross section of the best games. In future issues we will be focussing in on some of the display games in more detail and giving you some of the background to their concept and construction. WI249 will also highlight the painting competition entrants, with lots of great pics of the winning models.
We can’t possibly fit all the photos our roving reporter Paul Davies took on the day in the magazine so we have included loads more here on the website. Follow the link below to our gallery.

We are expecting delivery of the new Great War rulebook from Warhammer Historical early next week. Hurrah! To celebrate the release of this exciting new rule system for playing battalion level games of WWI, all orders taken before Monday 16th June 2008 will recieve the 3 figure Baron Von Richthofen vignette absolutely FREE! Double Hurrah!
Pictured is the Baron himself. The other figures are an irate officer in greatcoat pointing at a map and a pilot from The Baron's Circus paying cursory attention to the briefing. Unfortunately, due to a last-minute bizarre shower-based acident, Soapy damaged himself and was unable to do the vignette so instead Bill from Musketeer Miniatures stepped up and has delivered a cracker! The vignette will be seperately shipped to customers as soon as ithe moulding is finished. More pictures as we get them..."
