These box sets are part of an expanding range of 1/72nd figures depicting the Russian campaign during the Napoleonic Wars. The artillery sets contain one artillery piece and attending six figure crew on a base. The cavalry sets contain 3 horses and riders with bases. All are a far cry from the old soft plastic 1/72 figures I grew up with. They have excellent detail, molded in a mid grey rigid plastic, can be glued with polystyrene cement or liquid poly and will accept acrylic paint. Horses and some of the riders are two piece construction to achieve dynamic poses and realism. If 1/72nd (20/25mm) is your preferred scale/size, they are worth consideration and compatible with other manufacturers products
PROS: Hard plastic. Detail. Large range and compatible with other 1/72 products
CONS: Only 3 cavalry figures or one artillery piece per box set.
SCOPE: 1812 1814 Mid and Eastern Europe.
